CHO (2) ROSCOMMON EAST GALWAY ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, is a
service that serves both an urban and rural communities. The services
are working towards developing a strong recovery oriented practice
approach to service delivery and service user engagement. The service
is largely comprised of Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) that aim
to offer support to people and their supporters in their own home and
approved centres that provide inpatient services. CHO 2 is working
towards implementing the principles outlined in the HSE National
Framework for Recovery Mental Health (**Apply on the website**). This
is also in line with Living Life Well / Goal 5 of Mental Health
Irelands strategy ? Empowerment ? from Ideas to Actions (**Apply

CHO 2 Adult Mental Health services is partnering with Mental Health
Ireland to continue to develop, deliver and embed recovery education
in the services. This initiative aims to promote an educational
approach to recovery in mental health. It will do this through the
development and delivery of coproduced content in community settings
and elsewhere, with a clear emphasis on attending to narrative,
building relationships and harnessing high quality adult learning.
Mental Health Ireland, in collaboration with HSE CHO2 Adult Mental
Health Services is recruiting 1 X RECOVERY EDUCATION FACILITATOR FOR
ROSCOMMON/EAST GALWAY MHS (PART TIME **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS)
FOR A **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** MONTH FIXED TERM.
The post holder will assist services in achieving targets set out in
the HSE National Framework for Recovery Mental Health (**Apply on the
website**).
Applicants will have a strong and demonstrable commitment to recovery
informed by lived or family member mental health experience and
experience of co-production and facilitation of recovery education
programmes. The successful candidate must demonstrate:
* Experience of active involvement in mental health recovery
education.
* Commitment to recovery informed by relevant lived experience or
family member mental health experience.
* Strong and demonstrable experience of group facilitation or
similar engagement processes with service users and family members as
relevant to this role.
